Went up to Ratty with Rob to have a look. The wind was just about OK for a
6.3m at the start and we both got planing fairly easily. There was a small
swell, which turned into some small waves (2-3 foot) when the tide started
pushing in about an hour into the session. However, the wind was dropping
and Rob changed up to his 8.2m Swift which was working fine for him.
Unfortunately I didn\'t have a sail bigger than my 6.3 with me, so bogged
around on that - did manage to catch a few waves though which was fun. Rob
let me have a shotty of his kit just to get a few blasts in before we
swopped back over and made the most of the small waves that were forming
down towards the gas terminal. On OK session, but not great.
